Arnold Oil Company began in 1939 when Mamie and Gene Arnold opened in Corpus Christi, Texas. In 1977, after graduating from Baylor, Jim Arnold launched Arnold Oil in Austin with just one employee, two vehicles, and minimal inventory. Four generations later, his children now help lead the business.
Through the 1980s, Jim expanded into auto parts stores and equipment, growing to 30+ locations across Central and South Texas. Believing customer success drives company success, he focused on solutions that supported profitable growth. Jim also served on industry councils to ensure quality products and services.
Today, Arnold Oil employs knowledgeable staff dedicated to training customers for efficiency and profitability, while also encouraging ongoing education. Community service remains a cornerstone, with the company proudly supporting hundreds of organizations over the years.
